Tyler Toffoli

Tyler's development and production have been well under expectations, and he's been given every chance to produce in the past
playing 2nd line minutes with top end players. (Nash, Mackinnon, Havlat, Turris, Scheiffle, Zibanedjad)
Once again this season, Tyler risks falling to the third line as he's struggling to produce alongside Scheiffle and Turris.
We have been committed to Tyler since he was acquired as a prospect and remain committed to him.
We would like to extend a progressive contract that increment each 2 years.

Teuvo is off to a great start and will have every opportunity to play on the top 2 lines pending his production.
We would feel that putting him in line with the Scheiffle contract is appropriate and offer that same deal.

Morgan Reily

We see Morgan Reilly as a big piece of the future here in Ottawa.
We need him to continue improvement on his defensive game, but are confident that will come with time.
We want to commit to Morgan long term and offer a progressive contract that pays him heftily, well into his prime; where we expect him to push for Karlsson like numbers.
